Place: Zion Canyon in Zion National Park We just returned from six incredible days exploring the "Grand Staircase" with my brother and sister-in-law. We lucked out with weather everyday that was absolutely perfect for day hikes. Although, I would have enjoyed watching a "Grand Canyon" lighting storm explode across the sky. We started at the top the "Grand Staircase" and worked south visiting Bryce Canyon National Park first then Zion National Park and last exploring North Rim of the Grand Canyon. All three are spectacular but Zion is our favorite to explore and we ended the trip with another day hiking in Zion Canyon.
